Inibidor de NNMT — reduz células de gordura sem alterar dieta Original in PT-BR
A NNMT é uma enzima que metaboliza nicotinamida (vitamina B3) em 1-metilnicotinamida, consumindo o cofator SAM (S-adenosilmetionina) no processo. Em adipócitos, NNMT está superexpressa em tecido adiposo de obesos, onde regula negativamente o gasto energético celular. O 5-Amino-1MQ inibe seletivamente NNMT, resultando em: (1) aumento dos níveis intracelulares de NAD+ (por preservação da nicotinamida), (2) ativação de vias SIRT1-dependentes de oxidação de gordura, (3) redução do tamanho dos adipócitos, e (4) aumento do gasto energético celular.
